About

I’m a U.S. Navy veteran who served as a Hospital Corpsman before spending 13 years with the Department of Veterans Affairs, working in both the Veterans Health Administration and the Veterans Benefits Administration. Along the way, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, a Master of Legal Studies from Pepperdine University, and a second Master’s in Dispute Resolution.

 

Life hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge pushed me to grow stronger. Those experiences gave me the drive to rise above and help others do the same. Today, I channel that determination into investigative journalism and writing — exposing cracks in the system, holding organizations accountable, and giving a voice to people who are too often overlooked.

 

I also have a wonderful family made up of my three fur kids — Callie, Abby, and Nox. They are my whole world, and I’m thankful every day for the loyalty and love they’ve shown as they’ve walked beside me on this journey.
